When I was all of 14 years old, I took my first floral design class. I remember being so excited that I was able to make my own homecoming mum and play with flowers for a grade. Little did I know that I would continue to design for more than a decade and it would become a huge passion of mine.
This past weekend, I was honored to be a part of my very best friend's wedding, not only as matron of honor but also as her floral designer. (Ambitious, I know. ) We've been friends since literally 3 months old, so I can say we've been together for a lifetime! So, it was natural for me to give her the gift of design.
I snapped some photographs of us hanging out and designing. She was the most chill bride of all time, giving me creative carte blanche (which I lllooooove!). Purple wedding flowers are so hot right now, so I loved mixing all the gorgeous shades. The wedding turned out to be beeeeautiful, so I'll share those images later. I just love a good wedding...gives you the warm fuzzies. I was definitely feeling the love!
