My love affair with the world continues, and after inheriting some old atlases (Encyclopedia Brittanica, old school!), my travel-inspired art carries on. My guest bedroom is starting to look like a world traveller's digs, and I hope it inspires some sweet dreams and wanderlust!
Here is my latest (easy!) project:
Cute as a button, and would make a great gift for a fellow travel lover. Here's what I used:
Old atlas pages, mod podge, hot glue, monogram letter from Hobby Lobby and burlap ribbon from save-on crafts (love the SOC site, by the way.
|It was a little hard to rip these pages, but fascinating to dream about my future travels.|
|I carefully ripped the pages to include places on my bucket list. :)|
Once you have your pieces torn, go to town! I layered and layered and layered. Then, I hot-glued some rustic burlap ribbon.
Cuteness, right? For more world map love, check out my world map printable and world map gallery wall. Where are your journeys taking you this weekend?
