Rustic Whitewashed Mantle

Happy Fall, y'all!

Fall in Texas means the temperature drops below 95 degrees, yet makes boots once again acceptable. Joy! It's 90 degrees? Time to make some chili! God Bless!

So, in my new-to-me 70's starter home, it's our first fall and first mantel to decorate. We whitewashed our mantel and solved the TV on a brick fireplace dilemma in this post. I love chippy-white accessories and rustic details, so a few understated pieces added a perfect fall touch.

Antlers, rustic florals, old whiskey bottles and architectural details came together nicely. I'll be collecting a few more white pumpkins (my fave!) to make it a bit more fall-ish. This can also easily transition into winter.

For now, I'll sit back and enjoy my cozy room with a pumpkin-spice latte and a great book. Welcome, fall. Please stay awhile.

xoxo Kayli
