Cucumber Citrus Cooler Recipe

Hey, friends. How are y'all doing on those New Year's Resolutions? I know they can be a struggle. One of mine was getting my health into balance by eating better foods and cutting back on my savory, indulgent diet (hellloo holiday cheescake!)

As I recently mentioned, I've been incorporating fresh-pressed juices into my diet and have had so much fun trying new recipes. I recently concocted this one, and it's so tasty it doesn't even seem good for you (but it sooo is!)

Enjoy this oh-so refreshing drink, and cheers to good health in 2013!

Cucumber-Citrus Cooler

2 large apples (preferably Honeycrisp) or 4 small apples (like Gala) halved and cored
3 "Cuties" oranges, peeled
4 stalks celery
1/2 large cucumber

Mix all together in a juicer on low, beginning with the apples. Drink, and say "ahhh."

xoxo,

Kayli

    1. Hey Julie! Yeah, I'm trying hard to kick my caffeine addiction and replace it with yummy fresh juice in the morning. Prepping it all on Sundays and organizing them into gallon bags helps me so much. And yes, blog hop cohosting is so fun! Love meeting everyone!

  4. ooh i miss my juicer so much seeing this! i would honestly make one right now, especially since i have all of that in the fridge! juicing is the best way to wake up - i quit coffee at 18 but am a tea addict and juicing totally replaced that, plus gives a kickstart, is a great diet/de-bloater and seriously made my skin so fresh. hm. seems like i'll be asking to have that juicer shipped out, come to think of it.. way to go on your goals, girl!! xo

    1. Yes, coffee is a hard one to break...especially since my office just got a Kuerig, and its literally five feet away from me. How's that for temptation? :) Thanks for the encouragement! Cheers. :)
