I'm on day two of a healthy eating cleanse...which is progress for a girl who loves to eat! Today, I thought I'd share my go-to salad dressing that really makes me look forward to eating all those pretty greens.
This is a recipe my best friend shared with me in high school and has been one of my favorites since. I'm a very picky salad dressing eater, so this one has stood the test of time. Tangy, garlicky and delicious. Enjoy!
Simple red-wine vinaigrette
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar or Splenda
4 gloves garlic, crushed but left whole
In a mason jar, mix ingredients in order of list. Shake well and pour on your favorite salad. Refrigerate for up to three weeks.
Yum...I'm enjoying that salad above as we speak. Love those yellow cherry tomatoes too.
